There is no such thing as the right time
Updated: Jan 2
I'm beginning to learn that there is no such thing as the right time.
I'm beginning to learn that 'doing' brings new information and experiences that one wouldn't have when simply planning. The wealth of knowledge you receive when 'doing' cannot beat the research and planning.
I'm not saying don't plan and don't research. I believe that both are crucial.
But know that 'doing' - trying things out, testing the waters, 'winging' it, following your gut - is important too.
When we experiment, new experiences surface, new information we never knew before surfaces. You know how we think we can predict a certain outcome? I'm learning that when you think you can predict an outcome, you're usually surprised by what really happens.
So, don't take too long planning and researching. Sometimes it's time to stop already, and just do.
You'll be pleasantly surprised by the results you'll get.
